TWO LOCAL DANCERS MAKE IT TO THE TOP 20 ON FOX 50’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE TV SHOW
Raleigh, NC – October, 22nd 2009 – During last night’s So You Think You Can Dance final call back show 2 local dancers made it to the coveted TOP 20. Ariana Debose and Noelle Marsh from the CC & Co. Dance Complex in Raleigh, North Carolina are both on their way to Hollywood to start the studio taping and competition round of So You Think You Can Dance. Most recently, Ariana and Noelle have been dancing at CC & Co. Dance Complex under Christy Curtis the owner/director. Noelle and Ariana are both contemporary dancers, but are trained in all styles of dance. Noelle is from Sanford, NC and Ariana is from Wake Forest, NC. Both travelled to CC & Co. in Raleigh to train until graduating last year. They have worked with famous choreographers such as Sonya Tayeh, Travis Wall, Mandy Moore, Jason Parsons, Lauren Adams, Wes Veldink, Peter Chu, Tabitha & Napoleon D'umo, and Dee Caspary to name a few. They have also competed nationally in dance competitions around the United States with CC & Co's competition team: The Core.

In addition to dancing, Ariana is also a talented singer who has starred in WCPSS's Broadway Series South productions of "A Chorus Line" and "AIDA". Both Ariana and Noelle have been dancing since a young age and are pursuing a career in entertainment. Everyone at CC & Co. Dance Complex is so excited for our dancers. We plan to have viewing parties each week at Rudino’s Pizza & Grinders in Harvest Oaks Plaza in North Raleigh to watch the show and support our dancers! So everyone needs to watch, support and vote for these local Triangle dancers! CC & Co. Dance Complex CC & Co. Dance Complex located in North Raleigh, North Carolina offers the highest level of dance training for ages 2 to adult in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acro, Tumbling, Pre-School Programs and more. Our dancers grow both on a technical and stylistic level from some of the leading choreographers and instructors in North Carolina and abroad. CC & Company dancers not only excel in the development of their dance skills, they evolve into leaders, learning the value of teamwork, time management, setting and attaining goals and building self esteem in a safe, nurturing, and positive environment. Whether dancing recreationally or seeking a professional career, our goal is to unite our dancers through class, performance, and workshop opportunities to give a greater appreciation of dance to the Triangle area. Our two competitive and performance dance company’s; The Core and Fusion have over 200 dancers and compete on the regional and national level. CC & Co. Dance Complex was founded in 2005 by Christy Curtis who has been dancing and teaching in North Carolina for over 20 years. |
We, Katherine and John Herring, would like to extend our thanks to the community of Holly Springs for the support of our business, Relevé Dancewear, which opened in July 2006 in the Holly Springs Crossing shopping center. We credit the success of our business to the citizens of Holly Springs and surrounding areas who have been supportive of their endeavor to bring more specialized retail opportunities to the growing town.
In March 2009, we were given an unexpected opportunity to open a second Relevé location in Centrum Station in Cary, NC. The second location has allowed us to serve not only the residents of Holly Springs, but also a broader base of customers in the greater Raleigh area. While the goal has been to maintain the two locations indefinitely, the lagging economy has made the consolidation of the two locations necessary at this time. We plan to return to Holly Springs in a location that is more comparable to the Cary store as soon as circumstances allow.
We definitely view this move of the Holly Springs location as temporary. Our lives are centered in the Holly Springs community and we will be looking to ‘come home’ as soon as possible.”
We plan to continue to be actively involved in the Holly Springs community, maintaining our relationships and memberships with the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Holly Springs Women’s Club. We sincerely appreciate the continued support of the Holly Springs community and look forward to serving our loyal Holly Springs customers at the Cary location of Relevé Dancewear. |
