Suffolk’s Set of Ribbon is one piece of 45-inch double-sided ribbons. This is enough ribbon to sew one pair of pointe shoes. Our ribbon is dyed exclusively to match the satin we use on our pointe shoes and without rough edges.

Suffolk’s Set of Elastic is an 18-inch piece of elastic. It is woven elastic that has a high quality look and feel, which is the best for sewing pointe shoes. The woven elastic is made from dense interlocking threads that produce a premium product. Our elastic can be identified by the crosswise and parallel ribs that create a windowpane effect. Premium woven elastic does not narrow and cannot be seen through when stretched. However, it is easily stitched through without affecting the integrity of the elastic. Woven elastic also resists curling and is the softest elastic made. The elastic solidly secures the shoe to the foot of the dancer.

 

Typically, this 18 inch piece is enough to provide single elastics on two pairs of pointe shoes or double elastics on one pair. Buy two if you wish to criss cross.

Suffolk® Pointe Hues is a quick and simple way to dye or mattify the satin fabric of your pointe shoes. Using innovative bag-on-valve technology, the Pointe Hues spray bottle allows you to fully pancake your shoes in seconds. The 100 ml bottle contains enough product to dye several pairs of pointe shoes. Made in the USA.

 

Directions: Shake well. Hold can several inches away from pointe shoes and spray all around for an even coating. Allow to dry for minimum of 1 hour before wearing. Available in 6 skin tone shades, plus black and red!

 

*If the spray nozzle gets clogged, simply soak in Isopropyl Alcohol for 5 minutes and it will be good as new!

 

Many dancers find that darning the platform of their pointe shoes provides stability while dancing. Others darn the satin of their shoe to achieve a cut down look in desired areas. Suffolk's darning kit contains 280 meters of 100% mercerized Egyptian cotton crochet thread, a mini thread cutter, a thimble, and 2 darning needles for work on sides, vamps, or heels.

Tool to assist in adding a drawstring to a ballet shoe or pointe shoe. Replace missing drawstrings or replace a cotton drawstring with an elastic drawstring.

Need help with your alignment during Ballet class? Look no further!! The Suffolk Alignment Belt is .75 inches wide with a sturdy clasp for easy closure and is adjustable to fit to your waist or hips. It can be loosened to be 33 inches long. Your instructor will be able to spot that correct alignment in no time after you wear this belt to every class.

 

Suffolk's Sewing Tube contains 78 yards of waxed 100% Nylon thread dyed exclusively for Suffolk to match the satin used on our pointe shoes, two sewing needles, and a self-contained stainless cutter. The stainless cutter is built into a top that will never rust or dull for smooth cutting of strong, waxed thread time after time. Our strong container will not be crushed in a dance bag.
